The conscious leader demonstrates leadership actions.
She accepts that leadership is not a thing, but a process reflected through action.
She knows that leadership actions are happening when another person’s thoughts, feelings or actions are significantly influenced by her own, in a way that they change for the better.
She does not rely on her title to give her permission to perform leadership actions, and will naturally lead from any position. She will even demonstrate leadership by challenging upwards.
She recognises that there are many leadership actions, and that inspiring and motivating are just two. Her being and actions become a catalyst for developing leadership actions in others.
She performs leadership actions at home, and as a citizen. She does not turn it on and off just because of who’s present.
The conscious leader is always changing the world by never not performing leadership actions.
