The conscious leader leads by demonstrating leadership actions.

She knows that leadership is not a thing, but a process reflected through leadership actions. Leadership actions are recognised as such by the recipients who are impacted by them. When your own thoughts, feelings or actions are significantly influenced by another so that you change for the better, you ascribe that to leadership, embodied by the person who made the impact.

The conscious leader does not need a title and will naturally lead from any position. She does this by consciously shifting from being in reaction to circumstances to being the creator, resolving issues through right decisions and right action at the right time. Her being and actions thereby become a catalyst for developing leadership actions in others.

The conscious leader knows there are many leadership actions, and inspiring and motivating are just two.
