Money-Back Guarantee (Refunds)
This policy applies to places where you see this statement:
MONEY BACK GUARANTEE! If you find there’s no chemistry or are not satisfied with the results you’re getting after two sessions, I will give you a 100% refund, no questions asked.
I am confident in the services I offer, and I always strive to provide great coaching—even though the best coaching is invisible in that it leaves you feeling that you found the answer yourself! Nevertheless, if you sign up for a coaching program (in-person or online self-coaching) and after two sessions you find that there’s no chemistry, or that it’s not working for you, then I’ll refund you, no questions asked.
Well, to be clear, I will ask one question: Did you actually engage the content and do the work that was required? I will hold you to that condition. Firstly, it’s only fair, and secondly, an important element of coaching is to show you the value of making commitments and keeping them—and acting on them. So if you get nothing else out of it, you’ll at least get that.
To be even more clear, I won’t refund you simply because you changed your mind, or got scared, or didn’t “like it”. You need to show that you got no value out of those first two sessions, or that we have no chemistry and therefore that there is no possibility of working together.
In addition, if you’ve received your Enneagram (Five Lens) Report, I will deduct from the refund R450 for the Standard Report, or R1,100 for the Premium report), as it’s a hard cash cost to me that I will have incurred.
Returns
The money-back guarantee does not extend to physical products like books that are shipped to you, even if that book gets damaged during transport. Obviously, I will refund you if you can show that the book was physically defective before it was shipped, for example if there are pages missing or blank.
We will not be held liable if a physical product like a book does not arrive, and I can show that I have used a reputable service, and prove that I shipped it.
In the unlikely event that you do not receive that value that you feel you deserve, or that is promised, you are invited to submit a complaint. Please contact Neil Bierbaum and state where you believe he or one of his coach subcontractors fell short, or where the product you bought and used didn’t measure up.
Your complaint will be treated with the respect it deserves and we will do our best to resolve it.
If we end in dispute, and you feel there has been an ethical or standards breach, you may request a conduct review from the International Coaching Federation, which is the international coach certification body with whom Neil is accredited.
Privacy and Data Protection
Alembic (Pty) Ltd operates the https://neilbierbaum.com website, which provides the Service.
We respect your privacy and will protect your personal information in the way that is set out in this policy. If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in line with this policy.
Why we collect information
We collect information so that the website can work properly and so that we can deliver the Service. For example, when you add a product to your basket, then continue browsing, we have to remember what’s in your basket and that it’s you who put it there; when you purchase a product and we need to deliver it to you; when you create a login and we need to remember you, to let you in again; when you close a popup, we need to remember that, so you don’t see it again. If you purchase a report, we may need to share your name and email address with another “third-party” service so that we can send you the link to your questionnaire and get your report.
We also collect information that helps us determine how you travel through the website so that we can improve the website experience for you and future users. In addition, we may collect information about how you found us—which search engine and search phrase you used, and which link you clicked on, so that we can improve our marketing. We use third-party services like bitly and Google Analytics for that and, if you allow them to, some of those may store some information which they’ll combine with other information they have about you, so that they can send you more personalised advertising. This last point applies to Google, mostly, although they’ve said they’re going to do less of that.
As you can see, the Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The Personal Information We Collect
While you use this website and our Service, and for the purposes mentioned above, we may collect the following information:
- Personally Indentifiable Information We may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number, physical address and postal address. This information will be used to contact or identify you.
- Log Data Whenever you visit our Service, we collect information that your browser sends to us that is called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser version, pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.
- Cookies Cookies are files with small amount of data that is commonly used as an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your computer’s hard drive. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies, and know when a cookie is being sent to your computer. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.
For more detailed, site-specific information on how we use cookies, please read our Cookie Policy.
For more general information on cookies, please read All About Cookies.

- send you a proposal or quote;

Sharing and Disclosing Your Personal Information
We will not sell nor disclose your personal information to anyone, except as provided in this policy. We might, in addition, disclose or transfer your personal information:
- to third-party suppliers, affiliates, partners, agents or subcontractors in order to provide you with our services (see next paragraph);
- to employees or subcontractors who require it to do their jobs;
- in a situation where the law requires us to.
We may share your information with third-party companies and individuals, or give them access to it, in order to:
- facilitate our Service (for example, to serve a form for you to complete, and then securely store the data for us);
- provide the Service on our behalf (for example to complete a credit card transaction);
- perform Service-related services (like send you a link to your questionnaire and generate a personalised report based on your responses); or
- assist us in analyzing how our Service is used (Google Analytics);
- send you electronic newsletters, updates and invitations; and

Notes
- The third-party services we use are obligated protect your information in the same way that we endeavour to, and we will not use any that we don’t trust to do just that. However, we have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. You are welcome to contact us to find out which ones we use, and perform your own review the privacy policies of those websites.
- In addition, our Service may contain links to other sites, for example as a reference in a blog article. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Once again, we have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the privacy policies of those websites.
- Our employees and subcontractors are contractually bound to keep all confidential information confidential. We ensure that they are aware of this, and that they take their confidentiality obligations seriously.

We value your trust in providing us with your Personal Information. We therefore strive to use commercially acceptable means of storing and protecting it. That said, no method of transmission over the internet, nor method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
Contact Us
If you have any questions or suggestions about our Privacy Policy, or wish to access or correct your personal information that we hold, please contact us.
Welcome to our Cookie Policy. This policy forms part of our Privacy Policy.
Hear ye! Hear ye! Let it be known that the Neil Bierbaum Coaching website at https://neilbierbaum.com may use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and other tracking technologies. These elements exist to help customize the website and improve your user experience. This policy describes what cookies are, what we use them for, and how you can manage them during your visit to or use of our website.
What are Cookies?
Cookies are tiny text files that are used to store small pieces of information. They are stored on your device when the website is loaded on your browser. These cookies help us make the website function properly, make it more secure, provide better user experience, understand how the website performs, and analyse what works and where it needs improvement.
Why We Use Cookies
This website uses cookies to:
- protect your privacy;
- grant you access to restricted content;
- store your preferences and actions in order to enable and improve your experience while you navigate through the website;
- deliver relevant advertising, where appropriate; and
- improve the flow of traffic to the website.
The Types of Cookies We Use
The cookies we use fall into three categories:
- Necessary Necessary cookies ensure basic functionalities and security features of the website, anonymously. They are essential for the website to function properly. For example, the option you select about what cookies you’ll allow—we need to know that, regardless—as well as cookies that make it possible for you to stay logged into your account and move about the website to make a purchase or complete a lesson within a course. You cannot opt out of these cookies. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but if you do, some parts of the site may not work. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.
- Functional Functional cookies are optional, but recommended, as they tell the website how to behave just for you, like remembering once you’ve told it to stop shoving particular popups in your face, and enabling you to share the content of the website on social media platforms. They enable us to remember your preferences or settings—sometimes for only a month—so that when you return to the site, we can still provide you with a more personalized experience. You can opt out of these cookies, and then you’ll have to live with the popups and the like.
- Performance Performance cookies are optional and are used by us to understand and analyze where you come from and what you do on the website, For example, your journey between pages and whether you have downloaded anything. This helps us to improve the experience for you and other visitors. We also use third-party (eg. Google Analytics) cookies to help with that. These cookies may then continue to be used by those third parties to track you elsewhere on the Internet for online advertising purposes.
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
All cookies are stored on your browser and can be deleted or blocked by you at any time. (Go to your browser settings / options / preferences; search for browser-specific instructions online if you get stuck.) As explained above, some cookies are necessary for the website to work and are stored regardless. If you block them, the website may not work properly. Some cookies are optional and are only stored with your consent. Some of those might contain information about your use of our site that gets shared with our social media, advertising or analytics partners. They may combine it with other information that they’ve collected from your use of other websites, or that you’ve provided to them when you’ve used their services directly. Turning off those cookies might mean you get less relevant—and hence slightly more annoying—advertising sent your way as you navigate the digital landscape.
You can change your preferences even after you’ve set them, by clicking on the “Manage content” tab on the bottom right of your screen. This will display the consent notice again, and enable you to change your preferences or withdraw your consent entirely.
