The conscious leader learns from nature.

From her garden, she has learned that you should not inspect a seedling too early, and that you cannot pull on a flower to make it grow faster. From this she has learned patience, timing, and trust.

She notices that animals do not have the mind of humans, in which thoughts (like doubts, and self-consciousness) arise, and so they are capable of total focus when they play, or hunt. From this she has learned presence, and fearlessness.

She has seen that nature has no judgement about winners and losers. The trees do not mourn the loss of a buck, nor celebrate the victory of the lion. From this she has learned equanimity.

When animals survive an attack, they get up, shake themselves off, and continue with their day. From this she has learned to let go of her story, and recover quickly from a setback.

The conscious leader gains wisdom by observing nature, and aligning her own nature to what she sees.
